Middle School Happenings (12 - 11 - 09)

Have you heard the song “My Grown-Up Christmas List?” This week our contribution is “The Middle School Students’ Christmas List.” Each student was to make a wish for the world, country, school, and their family. Since we are all still “kids,” they also included themselves.
Sixth Grade
Elexsa Anderson: Take care of our world, don’t pollute, and help our soldiers, help our school save money, keep a roof over my family’s head, and for myself, I want a guitar.
Colten Bach: No war, more lakes in our country, more money for our school, a new brother for our family, and a new bedroom for myself.
Brooke Baird: No war, make our country a better place for everyone, a bigger heater for our school, a great Christmas for our family, and for me, a pair of Uggs.
Sarah Baird: Peace on Earth, no war for our country, more money for our school, a new puppy for our family, and for myself, an IPod Touch and a laptop.
Kirsten Burger: A better economy for the world, the right amount of water for our crops, no school on Fridays, a new sister for our family, and an IPod Touch for myself.
Camden Cox: For everyone to be kind in the world, that everyone in our country has a chance to do something big, a Wii for Long Island to play after school, our family’s adoption to be a success and a Wii there as well with Mario Kart, and for me, a DSI.
Briana Fuemmeler: Peace on Earth, no war, more money for our school to buy stuff for all the people here, a better house for my family, and a laptop and money for myself.
Vanessa Garcia: No pollution, happiness for our country, new books for school, happiness, peace, and love for my family, and for myself, a phone, a haircut, a computer, IPod, and a laptop.
Allison Keith: Stop fighting in the world and have peace, money for our country, new desks for our school, redo our family’s house and a laptop for myself.
Cody Land: I would like world peace, taxes to go down in our country, more money for our school, a new puppy for Mom and Dad, and a 22 rifle for me.
Eli Lowry: The world to be a better place to live, no more problems with Afghanistan, a big speaker system for our school, a 50” flat screen TV, and for myself, an IPod, PSP, and games.
Brianna Martin: No more hunger in the world, no war for our country, another gym for our school, a new house for my family, and a DSI for myself.
Talia Lowry: Help our world’s population, our country to help Iraq, new dodge balls for our school, a new puppy for our family, and for myself, a Nintendo DS, clothes, and shoes.
Dalton Smith: Gas prices go down, more ponds for our country, more money for our school, a new garage for my family, and a new gun for me.
Matthew Southerland: For the world, people do not put trash on the ground, for our country to have a lot of money, help our school get money, for family to be happy, and for myself, a country guitar.
Shayna Vincent: Peace for the world, more money for our country, no cuts for our school, love for my family, and for me, a camera.
Seventh Grade
Tony Anderson: More trees, animals, and plants for our world, more fields for our country, more teachers for our school, better health for my family, and sleepers for me.
Gabriel Anderson: Fewer terrorists in the world, fewer homeless people in our country, more money for our school, not as many bills for my family, and a better economy for all.
Ame Baird: As Miss America would say, “World Peace,” fix the economic disaster in our country, no more budget cuts for our school, for my family to always keep in touch with each other, and for myself, my own room (Do you hear that Mom?).
Destiney Brannum: World peace, homeless off the streets in our country, more money for our school, for my family to live together again, and for myself, a DSI, IPod touch or an IPod Nano, and rock band for the Wii.
Alyssa Bryant: For the world, save energy, help the poor in our country, guard dogs for our school, peace for my family, and for me, all things TWLIGHT.
Phillip Bryant: For our world, peace and more money, more money and less fighting war for our country, more money and a new school with a bigger gym, a new, bigger house for my family and all bills to be paid, and for myself, clothes and shoes.
Clinton Cole: World peace, everybody to have shelter in our country, new playground equipment for our school, a new basketball goal for my family that raises and lowers, and for me, a sweatshirt and candy.
Brant Cox: For the world, as many would agree, world peace, I’d like the economy to shape up for our country, an elevator for our school, a golden retriever puppy for my family, and for me, world power, ya, I know crazy! Just you see.
Kortney Cunningham: Peace in the world, a better economy for our country, for our school not to spend lots of money, for my family, a big house, and for me, my own horse saddle, blanket, and reins.
Morgan Hawks: World peace, freedom for our country, more stuff for our school’s playground, for my family to get what they want for Christmas, and for myself, a Wii.
Macy Kasson: For the world, infinite donuts, for our country, lots of oil, for our school, more money, for my family, to gain the mineral rights to our property and strike gold, and for me, and IPod touch.
Carson Montgomery: World peace and no wars, for our country, I would like to praise President Obama and his family in this tragic year, I wish for our school to last forever, I would like to spend time with my family over Christmas, and for myself, a Kansas State jersey.
Makayla Smith: In the world, less pollution, in our country, lower taxes, raise money to help our school, in our family, a new brother, and for me, I want my own puppy.
Philip Rupp: I would like world peace, enough money for everybody in our country, have money for the school that they lost back, our family to go on a vacation for once, and for me, a Wii, inside flying helicopter, ripstick and a bunch of my own money to spend.
Matthew Stutsman: World peace, our country’s economy to get better, our school to keep running, my family’s business, Home Oil, to be successful, and for myself, the game Call of Duty Modern Warrior for Xbox 360, a dirt bike, and a trampoline.
Kobie Unterseher: For the world, peace and no war, a better economy for our country, more money for our school so we can get better books, for my family not to get sick, and for me, I want to help my parents out and find a new house.
Khrissanna VanPatten: World peace, a better economy for our country, more money for our school, for my family to be able to remodel our house, and I want a touch IPod.
Tea VanPatten: I want the world to stop fighting and get along already, the country to have a better economy, the school to get more money to pay for everything, my family not to get sick, especially my mom, and for me, I want chocolate, lots and lots of chocolate.
Stewart Whitney: No homeless or starving people in the world, a better economy for our country, more money for our school for better books and equipment, and for the teachers not to be sick, for my family to be healthy, and for myself, to be healthy all year.
Eighth Grade
Jordan Baird: For the world, peace, for the country to get out of debt, for our schools’ heaters to work better, for my family, don’t be so annoying, and for myself, a car.
Hunter Chandler: World peace, more money for the poor in our country, in our school, clean or rebuild broken things for a day, for my family, to not be annoying, and for myself, get better at sports.
Mike Griffin: No war in the world, for our country, a new government, a new heater system for our school, for my family, don’t pick on them all the time, and for myself, a good day.
Dakota Hilburn: World peace, a better government for our country, buses that don’t break down for our school, for my family not to fight as much, and for me, a Mustang.
Kolten Hilburn: For all the countries to get along and stop fighting, for our country to build a big wall so terrorists can’t come and bomb us, our school get new computers and better buses and heaters, for my family, for my sister not to such an airhead and no not Dakota or Chyanne, and for me, a sports car, a LG spider, and a blackberry curve.
Jon Meyer: No more pollution in the world, a better government in our country, teachers’ salaries to increase; help for my family’s bills, and for myself, the car payments gone.
Alex Stevens: For the world, I want for war in Iraq to end, for the country, a new president, for my school, the heater to work in the gym, for my family, a new computer, and for myself, a PS3.
Ian Vincent: World Peace, our country to get out of debt, buses that don’t quit for our school, don’t be so annoying to my family, and for me, a car.
