Fast ForWord is a scientifically researched and brain-based computerized program that focuses on building skills in Memory, Attention, Processing, and Sequencing (MAPS). Based on over 30 years of brain research, the Fast ForWord products have helped over 100,000 students boost reading and language skills, leading to improved learner performance. Parents often notice increased communication skills and increased self esteem in and out of the classroom.
Each computer-based product accelerates learning by developing cognitive skills that are critical for reading and learning. Through frequency, adaptivity, simultaneous development, and timely motivation, the students improve in ability to follow directions and build listening skills.
Our school has the opportunity to offer the students Fast ForWord brain component programs, as well as reading programs so that students are paired with the one that best fits their learning needs. Trained coaches are available to help guide the students daily in the skills presented, and we are so excited with the increase in student participation we have seen this year!
