10.5 - Huskies Head out West.
The Huskies lost to Weskan in our trip out west. They fought a tough-hitting Coyote squad and were able to come away with several lead changes and a great number of aces. But the Coyotes were the better passers helping set up their team with a great amount of hitting. The Huskies fought hard and dug the ball we just weren't able to put it to the floor as much as Weskan. With just 1 more regular game before we enter the league tournament, we are going to be looking for that focus and fight.

9.28 - The Huskies get a Win!!! Vs. Triplains / Brewster
With great amounts of effort and focus the Middle School Huskies finally got their first win. The fight they had the week before paid off and they dialed in on passing and serving to beat the Titans from Triplains/Brewster. The A team had to fight the entire game but nothing spoke to their focus like the last 6 points. The girls were down 24-19 got a side out and then Rene Horacek was able to serve 6 straight for the Win! 3 of Rene's last 6 serves were aces and the rest of the Huskies battled to win. With Game Point on the line, the Huskies truly believed that they could do it! The same amount of fight and courage were present in the B Team and C team matches. The B-Team was able to win the second set of their match 30-28! We were all filled with joy and even some tears! The coaching staff looks forward to what the rest of the season looks like with this level of Grit and Finish!
