Below is the summary of the lady huskies' game against Trego last night.
'The Lady Huskies took on the Trego Golden Eagles on December 7th to start off the Purple and Gold Tournament. The ending score was 12-47. The Huskies battled hard and showed a large crowd how much passion they have for the game. The defense stepped up huge and played very well despite being very largely outsized by the Lady Golden Eagles. The struggle for the night was shooting the ball against much taller defenders. The Lady Huskies pick up action in the tournament with the Victoria Lady Knights on Friday, December 10th at 3pm.
Leading Scorer: Savannah Rose-3
Leading Rebounder: Austyn Cox- 6 '

The NVHS Girl's Basketball team had a silly supper on Saturday evening. The girls were given a menu with confusing names, for example wicked breakfast on the menu was deviled eggs and hockey pucks were mini cheeseburgers. They chose their three courses having no idea what they were ordering, including their utensils. Some mashed potatoes were eaten with saltine crackers and some spaghetti was eaten straight off the plate among other strange combinations of food, but the girls had fun bonding before practice kicks off on Monday!
